Commitment Day 2187

Valentine's day has since been dubbed Commitment Day. Every year, on February 14th, there is a huge dinner party thrown in each city. All are invited--unmarried, undraftable, and married. Attire is formal. Dance the night away, eat some very gourmet dinner, mingle with people you haven't met before...and of course, go into the vendor room where there are tables with lots of goodies for you to buy that can spice up the bedroom part of your marriage.

Black Friday Shopping

The day after Thanksgiving with doorbuster deals. People wait in line all night long in order to get in before everything is gone.

Family Dinners and Gatherings

Gather round the big table at the father's house or go off for a big family ski trip for the holidays. When many parts of the family would get together at a house not your own.

Let's face it, it would take quite a long time to get to 10 years in the future and the sad truth is, we may never even reach it. So if there is an event that you'd like to play out that takes place in a time far from now, use this forum to play it out.

Alternate Universe

The setting of the Draft can be limiting and sometimes you'd like to see what might have happened if these two characters met in a different time like our own present time or a different setting that's not The Draft. Justice of The Peace

No bells and whistles for your wedding. Just make a trip down to the Justice of The Peace at your scheduled appointment and you'll be man and wife in no time.

Kirkwright Government Hospital

Controlled by the government who make sure everyone can receive the medical attention they need. Whether you're just having an appointment for an ultrasound or a case of the sniffles, the hospital takes care of everything.

Kirkwright Counseling Center

An extension of the hospital. Should you need marital counseling or need someone to talk to about anything, there is a licensed psychiatrist waiting to hear from you. But be careful about your secrets. They are still government employed.

Corrective Learning Center

For those crimes that do not end in death, you'll often be receiving some kind of punishment varying from an intensive 8-hour session of instructional videos to periods of solitary confinement.

If you have the extra money, take a trip down to the Cherry Street Mall and get that big screen you've been saving for. Or buy the wife a nice piece of jewelry or the kids a new toy.

Wives, use your special credit card to come in and get a new piece of lingerie for the husband. It's government funded, so don't worry about the cost.

Gym and Fitness Center

Men and even women need to exercise to keep their bodies looking attractive to their spouse. Sign up for special classes like yoga, or just use the exercise equipment. Don't forget to stop by the pool on those hot, summer days.

Pamper and Paradise

Ladies, take a day to pamper yourself. Get a wash and a cut or a manicure and pedicure. Sit around with the other wives and gossip while you get a full mask treatment.

Your Perfect Getaway is a unique service that brings you exotic vacations without ever having to leave your home. Travel the world from your own bedroom without worrying about breaking the law!

Norcroft's Gentlemens Club

A place for men to gather and shoot the breeze. Try a glass of non-alcoholic brandy and a tobacco-less cigar.

Bridgeburg Tea Parlor

Ladies need a place to gather and knit little baby booties together while enjoying a nice cup of tea and biscuit.

Eagledon Country Club

Golf, tennis, and a prestige dining area for those lucky enough to be able to afford it. Membership not required.

Glennwood Memorial Park

There's a nice play area for the kids and a walking path for an afternoon stroll. Liter free and pets are allowed--on a leash and if you clean up their droppings.

Ashpoint Television and Film Studio

Opening in March 2187, it will bring more film stars, music stars, and TV stars to Ashpoint. Talk shows, sitcoms, dramas, commercials, and some movies will be filmed in Ashpoint. Once complete, the local news will be filmed here.

Saint Paul's Church

Though the government has never demanded anyone be a certain religion, they certainly do endorse Christian beliefs and encourage you to go to church every Sunday.
