SITE RULES
- This board is Rated R to NC-17. That means there is the possibility of strong language, drugs, violence, and scenes of a sexual nature. Please be advised upon registering if this is something you do not want to be exposed to. We will accept no players below the age of 16 though over 18 is preferred.
- Avatars can be no bigger than 200 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
- Signatures can be no larger than 500 pixels wide and 250 pixels tall.
- The CBox is for OOC interaction.
- We impose no word counts. We believe in writing until you feel the post is finished. If this means you only write a paragraph, you only write a paragraph. If it means you write 5, you write 5. You do not have to match posts, either. Just give the other players something to reply off of and keep the thread going. When in doubt, communicate with each other!
- A couple of common sense of things. No godmodding unless you've got permission from the other players, be respectful of each other, etc. If you're not sure if it's appropriate, simply don't do it. The same applies for the cbox.
- This isn't a site where the main purpose is to have cyber sex. If that's what you are looking for, this isn't the place for you. We suggest a Yahoo! Chatroom instead.
- Please date your threads for continuity.
REGISTRATION
- Please register with your character's first and last name in proper capitalization. IE Mary Smith.
- If you're having trouble registering an account, please make sure your anti-spam word is typed correctly like this
- If it tells you that registration requires a password, registrations are invitation only at that moment.
- Please make sure you have read and understood all documentations.
- You must post in the Player Directory so we know who plays who.
- You are allowed as many characters as you wish, however we ask that you alternate. If you create a wife, you need to create a husband next. This keeps our ratios fair.
CHARACTER CREATION AND ROLEPLAY
- To make sure you understand the plot and can create a character that fits into this world, you need to read the plot, the faq, and draft realism 101. If you don't read these threads, we'll be able to tell and we won't approve your character.
- I can't stress this enough and that's why I'm repeating it here. There are consequences to IC actions that break the law. Even if your character doesn't get caught in that instance, you (and your characters) need to acknowledge that they can always be caught and punished accordingly. This isn't a threat, just a reminder that you need to play within the parameters of the game.
- Because the draft has been in practice for many decades, everyone being born of this generation should grow up with it being all that they know. In the past, we had many characters who were anti-draft who somehow faked their way through school without being executed. Now, that being said, it's still plausible for your character to be anti-draft but there needs to be some reason in there. It can't be as simple as 'she hates it and wants love.' etc. We can and will question you if we don't feel like their position is justified.
- Remember that a wives need to be between the ages of 18 and 21 to be drafted, and husbands 23 or older. If you're creating a widow that can be redrafted, she needs to be younger than 26.
- Have patience with drafting. I will try my best to get you drafted as soon as possible, but sometimes the preferences in the available spouses don't match up. We pick wives for husbands because they have the hair and eye color that the husband prefers. (Or one or the other, if both are not possible.)
